10:00 – Breakfast di dining area. Here’s a video that I sent to my mom that morning, wkwkwk aga ga penteng but it showed a glimpse of the dining room:

Our breakfast :3

As expected tempatnya gede buanget and we spent some time there belanja ini-itu. Gue beli beberapa hand and foot warmers sama celana olah raga yang murah while hasben bought some geeky supplements.

Kita beli minum juga di Decathlon dan kata Grace later on kalo di botol kita ada tanda recycle ini, kita bisa submit botol kosongnya ke supermarket terus get refund berapa duit gitu. We didn’t try it though.

Makanannya aduh ga usah ditanya lah, ENAK pake capslock hahaha. Vibes restorannya warm dan kekeluargaan banget. Thanks so much to Grace yang udah traktir kita makan di sana, we had such a great time!

14:00 – Jalan-jalan lagi, masih di sekitaran Alexanderplatz.

Clear sky, great weather!

Found this cute trampoline park and…

Hahaha xD sorry couldn’t resist!

They have so many things inside dan kita spent lama banget di dalem karena gue ga selese-selese window shopping xD

We didn’t sit in front of the windows karena kita cari meja yang bisa buat ngobrol bertiga, but I think that was such a great spot to chat (and draw!) sambil ngopi :3

Entah kenapa cuma kopi gue yang dateng-dateng designnya kayak penampakan makhluk halus begini haha. Anyway meski katanya The Barn itu terkenal, me and hasben disliked their coffees the most dibanding kopi lainnya yang kita cobain selama Europe trip kemarin.

17:45 – Cus jalan lagi and stumbled upon Weihnachtsmarkt an der Gedaechtniskirche (Budapester Str), a small Christmas market di tengah jalan yang lokasinya udah deket banget sama Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.

What a cute decoration :3

No mistletoe no problemo :p

Aww I love this photo so much! Thank you Grace for taking it!

18:50 – Diajak Grace makan Curry 36 (Hardenbergplatz 9, exactly di depan bahnhof Zoologischer Garten) which I think can be considered a gem in this city! Harganya murah, porsinya banyak, and it was tasty!

Whoaa.

Wow <3

Malem itu tempatnya lumayan sepi and the view was amazing. Ada orang jualan bubbles and I tried capturing the bubbles in the same frame with the gate, and I think the results were pretty cool 🙂

I’d suggest you guys to visit this place malem-malem karena pasti rame dan panas kalo siang hari.

Look at those bubbles!

Gosh what a pretty city sight.

20:30 – Jalan pulang and while walking to our bus stop, we found this Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe / also known as Holocaust Memorial (Cora-Berliner-Straße 1.)

Gue ama hasben sempet kebingungan karena ga ada papan penjelasan sama sekali, but I immediately thought that this was a cemetery or something. Karena aslinya udah gelap banget banget banget dan vibe di sana a bit eerie (itu di foto aga terang karena gue edit maksimal), we didn’t go inside to explore the concrete blocks. Kita juga ga sempet balik lagi ke sana keesokan harinya, padahal I’d like to see more kalo ada kesempatan.

Anyway, usually when we’re traveling, kita cuma akan spend 1 hari maksimal untuk fokus shopping and I think today was that day haha. Meskipun gue pecinta alam sejati and would prefer to spend my holiday exploring nature, I think as a busy city, Berlin had a lot to offer and it sorta helped balancing our trip nicely supaya ga cuma ngeliat yang ijo-ijo doang 🙂

Expenses untuk berdua:

  1. WC di Alexanderplatz: € 1
  2. Belanja di Decathlon: € 38.87
  3. Belanja di Primark: € 68.5
  4. Ngopi di The Barn: € 8
  5. WC di Christmas market 2 orang: € 1.4
  6. Dinner bertiga di Curry 36: € 12.3

Total:  € 130.07 (atau Rp 2.081.120)

Important tips:

  1. Biar gampang, let’s say exchange rate yang kita dapet: 1 € = Rp 16.000.
Once again thanks so much Grace for the treat! xD
  4. Ada WC gratis yang bersih di Decathlon (lokasinya di depan kasir) jadi kalo kalian lagi jalan-jalan di Alexanderplatz dan kebelet kencing, you can go to Decathlon, beli aja minum atau apa gitu, and then use their toilet.
Summary
Decathlon, Mutter Hoppe, Primark, The Barn, Weihnachtsmarkt an der Gedaechtniskirche, Curry 36, Bradenburg Gate, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.
